KING KONG introduced by Victoria Riskin

Victoria Riskin, author, producer, and daughter of Robert Riskin and Fay Wray, will introduce Schoedsack & Cooper’s KING KONG (1933), starring mother Fay Wray in the role that catapulted her to international stardom.

Victoria Riskin adapted Willa Cather’s My Antonia for television and was a producer of Carson McCullers’s The Member of the Wedding as well as The Last Best Year, based on her experience as a psychologist. Riskin was president of the Writers Guild of America West and served for twelve years as a director of Human Rights Watch. She lives in Martha’s Vineyard with her husband, David W. Rintels. Her new book Fay Wray and Robert Riskin: A Hollywood Memoir (Pantheon) will be available for purchase at our concession.
