Richard Price, who wrote the novel The Wanderers from which the film was adapted, will appear in person for a Q&A moderated by Fordham professor of Film and TV Brian Rose. Before the movie, Mr. Price will sign copies of The Wanderers (one per customer) purchased at our concession tonight.
Bronx-born writer Richard Price is the author of the novels The Wanderers, Clockers (later adapted by Spike Lee), Lush Life, and The Whites. He frequently writes for film and TV, with credits including Scorsese’s The Color of Money and “Life Lessons” from the anthology New York Stories, Ransom, Child 44, The Wire, and The Night Of. He has published articles in The New York Times, Esquire, The New Yorker, The Village Voice, and Rolling Stone, and has taught writing at Binghamton, Columbia, Yale, and New York University.
Brian Rose is a professor of film at Fordham University. He has interviewed leading directors, actors, and screenwriters for the Writers Guild, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, Screen Actors Guild, and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences
