Kent Jones is the author of several books of criticism and he served from 2013 to 2019 as director of The New York Film Festival. His films include A LETTER TO ELIA, co-directed with Martin Scorsese, HITCHCOCK/TRUFFAUT, and the critically acclaimed DIANE starring Mary Kay Place. He is preparing to shoot his new film, MY SHIP, this autumn. He lives in Brooklyn.
