Ron MacCloskey is a writer, producer, performer with 40 years of experience in the fields of stand up comedy in a wide variety of venues, and is the writer and presenter of his long running television show Classic Movies with Ronald MacCloskey. He also has a national TV show Remembering the Catskills that airs weekly on JLTV. Given a model of the Frankenstein creature at age 7, Ron became a huge fan of Boris Karloff, and, in 1997 decided to make a documentary on actor Boris Karloff. He started interviewing everyone he could find who knew and worked with Karloff, starting with Sara Karloff. This was the groundwork that would eventually lead to the current documentary. Ron is pictured here with award-winning director Guillermo del Toro. Guillermo is receiving THE FRANKY.
