Armond White will introduce DIRTY GERTIE FROM HARLEM, USA  on Monday, March 7 at 7:00 as part of our Pioneers of African-American Cinema series.

Armond White, a film critic, writes about movies for National Review and Out Magazine and received the American Book Award’s Anti-Censorship prize. He is the author of The Resistance: Ten Years of Pop Culture That Shook the World, Rebel for the Hell of It: The Art-Life of Tupac Shakur and Keep Moving: The Michael Jackson Chronicles and the forthcoming What We Don’t Talk about When We Talk about the Movies.
