IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT introduced by Victoria Riskin

Victoria Riskin, author, producer, and daughter of Robert Riskin and Fay Wray, will introduce IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (1934, Frank Capra), winner of five Oscars, including one for father Riskin’s screenplay.

Victoria Riskin adapted Willa Cather’s My Antonia for television and was a producer of Carson McCullers’s The Member of the Wedding as well as The Last Best Year, based on her experience as a psychologist. Riskin was president of the Writers Guild of America West and served for twelve years as a director of Human Rights Watch. She lives in Martha’s Vineyard with her husband, David W. Rintels. Her new book Fay Wray and Robert Riskin: A Hollywood Memoir (Pantheon) will be available for purchase at our concession.
