Anthropologist and filmmaker Pegi Vail will introduce a screening of Jean Rouch’s newly-restored The Human Pyramid (1961) on Monday, February 5 at 5:35.
Dr. Pegi Vail is an anthropologist and filmmaker at NYU's Center for Media, Culture and History and teaches documentary film production in the NYU's Culture & Media Program. She was on the organizational team for a number of Jean Rouch retrospectives at NYU and has taught on Rouch’s work at NYU and Columbia University.
