Noel Coward scholar Barry Day will introduce Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur’s The Scoundrel which features Coward in his first leading role. Following the screening, Mr. Day will show clips from Coward’s films, TV appearances, and interviews.

Barry Day, O.B.E., is an editor and author whose scholarly work has centered on theatre, with a particular focus on Noël Coward. He is a Trustee of the Noël Coward Foundation and has written over a dozen books on the playwright, including The Letters of Noël Coward, Noël Coward’s Screenplays, and Coward on Film. Day has also produced plays and revues showcasing the work of Coward and others. Born in England, he studied at Oxford and now resides in New York, London and Palm Beach.
