Director Joan Micklin Silver and co-stars Peter Riegert and Amy Irving will appear in person at a special screening of Crossing Delancey (Monday, September 18 at 7:00).

Joan Micklin Silver’s directing credits include Hester Street, Between the Lines, Head Over Heels, Bernice Bobs Her Hair, and, her other great paean to the Lower East Side, Crossing Delancey, starring Amy Irving and Peter Riegert. She also conceived and directed the musical revue A…My Name is Alice with Julianne Boyd, which won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Revue in 1983. Hester Street is now being developed as a Broadway musical.

Peter Riegert is a New York-born actor, screenwriter, and director. His credits include Crossing Delancey, Animal House, and The Mask, as well as various TV appearances in The Good Wife, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Dads, and more.

Amy Irving began her film career in Brian De Palma’s Carrie, and went on to appear in works like Jerry Schatzberg’s Honeysuckle Rose, Yentl, Deconstructing Harry, and Traffic. She has appeared on Happy Days, Spin City, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Alias, House, and The Good Wife, as well as Broadway productions of Amadeus, Heartbreak House, Three Sisters, and The Coast of Utopia
