Reviews
“THE KING AND THE MOCKINGBIRD is a truly strange, wondrous beast. It has the playful humor and charm of a children’s movie, but its design is dark and unsettling.”
– Bilge Ebiri, Vulture
“If THE KING AND THE MOCKINGBIRD were to propose a mandate for animation, it would be what the medium’s etymology has long suggested: to make the inanimate full of life.”
– Slant Magazine
“Marvelously colorful, casually inventive and completely wacky!”
– Kenneth Turan, The Los Angeles Times
“A mixture of bold imagery and biting wit”
– Christy Lemire, RogerEbert.com
