Gary Hustwit (HELVETICA, OBJECTIFIED, RAMS) is a filmmaker and visual artist based in New York. A veteran of the independent music and digital media worlds, he began making films in 2002 and has since produced or directed 20 documentaries about design, music, and art. Scanner (British artist Robin Rimbaud) is a pioneering figure in the realm of sonic art, blending genres across sound and space since 1991. Since composing professionally from 1982, Rimbaud has performed and created in esteemed venues worldwide. He has scored 75 contemporary dance productions and his albums, including Mass Observation (1994), Delivery (1997), and An Ascent (2020), are celebrated as innovative works in contemporary electronic music. Rimbaud collaborates with leading artists and innovators including Bryan Ferry, Wayne MacGregor, Laurie Anderson, and Hussein Chalayan, embodying his commitment to cutting-edge artistry.
