Chris Lemmon is an American actor, author, and musician, born on June 22, 1954, in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of legendary actor Jack Lemmon and actress Cynthia Stone. Chris attended the Verde Valley School in Sedona, Arizona, and later graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with degrees in classical piano and composition, as well as in theater. He has appeared in over 25 feature films, including AIRPORT ‘77 (1977), THAT’S LIFE! (1986), DAD (1989), and WISHMASTER (1997). On television, he starred in series such as Duet (1987–1989), Open House (1989), Thunder in Paradise (1994), and Brothers & Sisters (1979) . Additionally, he has performed in numerous stage productions, including the west-coast tour of Barefoot in the Park and the original West Coast production of Shay by Anne Commire. In 2006, Chris published his memoir, A Twist of Lemmon. He adapted the book into a one-man stage show in 2015, which he performed worldwide culminating with a sold-out run at London’s famed St James Theater. Chris resides in Connecticut with his wife, actress Gina Raymond, whom he married in 1988. They have three children, including actress Sydney Lemmon. In 2018, Chris underwent a double-lung transplant due to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and has since been recovering. He is currently finishing his second memoir My Lemmon Lungs.
