Alissa Wilkinson is a movie critic at The New York Times. She was previously a senior correspondent at Vox. Her book We Tell Ourselves Stories: Joan Didion and the American Dream Machine will be published on Tuesday, March 11, and she is also the author of Salty: Lessons on Eating, Drinking, and Living from Revolutionary Women. Alissa presently teaches creative nonfiction writing at NYU.
