Arch Oboler's independent production was a massive success at the box office and ushered in a short-lived 3-D boom which ultimately produced fifty domestic features, plus many shorts and cartoons, in the miracle of third-dimension. BWANA DEVIL has been painstakingly restored from 4K scans of the original 35mm Ansco Color camera negatives ahead of what will be the first New York 3-D screening in over five decades!
