U.S., 1957
Directed by Walter Lang
With Spencer Tracy, Katherine Hepburn, Gig Young, Joan Blondell
Approx. 104 min. DCP.

TV network researcher Katharine Hepburn is none too pleased when efficiency expert Spencer Tracy brings in room-filling computer Emerac to replace her — but then their circuits start to heat up, with help from the inattentions of eternal beau Gig Young and the sideline kibitzing of wisecracking colleague Joan Blondell.

Presented with support from the Ada Katz Fund for Literature in Film and the Robert Jolin Osborne Endowed Fund for American Classic Cinema of the 1930s, ’40s, and ’50s

Reviews

“A witty, often diverting romantic comedy that further demonstrates how well the duo fit.”
