Comedy: Woman Is Courage. Classical music-loving factory worker Kenzô Kawarasaki keeps to himself, well away from drunken dad and from equally boozing, womanizing, motor-mouthed elder brother Kiyoshi Atsumi (“Tora-san” in a very different change of pace) – so what’s he doing with the Goethe poems Kenzô gave to college girl Mitsuko Baishô? Mistaken assumptions run rampant in this pure farce.
