Directed by Ernst Lubitsch

(1941) Melvyn Douglas and Merle Oberon’s shaky marriage is made even shakier when she leaves him for temperamental pianist Burgess Meredith, in Lubitsch’s remake of his lost silent Kiss Me Again. Seen for decades only in dreary dupe videos, this is a rare 35mm print from the collection of the Austrian Filmmuseum. Approx. 83 min.
