From the book by 15-year LAPD officer Joseph Wambaugh, THE NEW CENTURIONS takes to the streets of LA with rookie cop Roy (Keach), a grad student looking to make ends meet by joining the force. Paired with veteran officer Andy (Scott), Roy is mentored in law enforcement in a unique and hardened way, but his interest in the force starts to outpace his investment in his family and his personal life, and many bullets will fly before Roy learns the cost of his new career.
