HESTER STREET with director Joan Micklin Silver

Director Joan Micklin Silver will appear in person for an audience Q&A following the February 19 special screening of Hester Street at 4:10pm.
Silver’s directing credits include Hester Street, Between the Lines, Head Over Heels, Bernice Bobs Her Hair, and, her other great paean to the Lower East Side, Crossing Delancey, starring Amy Irving and Peter Riegert. She also conceived and directed the musical revue A…My Name is Alice with Julianne Boyd, which won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Revue in 1983. Hester Street is now being developed as a Broadway musical.
