Following a screening of The Panic in Needle Park (Friday, July 7 at 7:00pm), director Jerry Schatzberg will appear in person for a Q&A moderated by Film Forum Repertory Director Bruce Goldstein.
Bronx-born photographer and film director Jerry Schatzberg captured portraits of 1960’s icons, including Bob Dylan, Andy Warhol, Fidel Castro, and Catherine Deneuve. Schatzberg directed his first feature film in 1971, Puzzle of a Downfall Child, followed by The Panic in Needle Park and Scarecrow.
