Joseph McBride, Welles historian and author of What Ever Happened to Orson Welles?: A Portrait of an Independent Career, will introduce three films during the Orson Welles 100 festival:
TOUCH OF EVIL (Preview Version): Wednesday, January 14 at 7:00 (comparison of the three versions to follow screening)
MACBETH (Scottish version): Friday, January 16 at 7:10 (Q&A with Chris Welles Feder to follow screening)
THE MAGNIFICENT AMBERSONS: Saturday, January 17 at 5:15 (analysis of Welles’ original cut to follow screening)
Mr. McBride will also present WELLESIANA, an original program of Welles rarities, on Thursday, January 15 at 7:10 and Saturday, January 17 at 2:45.
Mr. McBride’s book will be on sale at our concession during the festival.
