THREE COINS IN THE FOUNTAIN

Directed by Jean Negulesco

(1954) Americans in Rome Maggie McNamara, Jean Peters, and Dorothy McGuire toss their coins in the Fontana di Trevi (soon to be immortalized in La Dolce Vita) with a wish. But will they resolve their romantic entanglements with Rossano Brazzi, Louis Jourdan, and Clifton Webb before they leave? First Scope film shot outside the U.S. DCP. Approx. 102 min.

“A HANDSOMELY COLORED ROMANCE… A nice way to take the movie audience on a sightseeing tour of Rome, with a flying side trip to Venice, through the courtesy of CinemaScope.”
- Bosley Crowther, The New York Times

“Cameraman Milton Krasner made The Eternal City look so scrummy he got an Oscar for it.”

ROME ADVENTURE

Directed by Delmer Daves

(1962) In the Eternal City, librarian Suzanne Pleshette meets older man Rossano Brazzi and struggling architect Troy Donohue can’t seem to shed sexy older (!) woman Angie Dickinson – so of course they're going to meet. Turbulent but incredibly scenic romance. 35mm. Approx. 119 min.
