THE 30th ANNIVERSARY OF FILM FORUM’S FIRST INTERACTIVE SCREENING
This Halloween at 8:30 pm, Director of Repertory Programming Bruce Goldstein will introduce Film Forum’s world-famous interactive happening – this year marking its 30th year (and perhaps its swan song). The screening will be followed by an audience Q&A.
Goldstein first presented his live interactive Tingler show, featuring “Percepto!” and his very own “Psychedel-O-rama,” 30 years ago, as part of a series called “Gimmick-O-rama.” He has taken his Tingler show around the world, from New York, Hollywood and St. Louis (Vincent Price’s home town), to Paris (at the Cinémathèque Française), Dublin, Glasgow, Munich, Neuchatel, Switzerland (in French), Tel Aviv, and even Ljubjana, Slovenia (hometown of Melania Trump).
