Andrea Battleground is the film and media librarian for the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture’s Moving Image and Recorded Sound division. She has a master’s degree in Library and Information Studies with an emphasis on African American special collections. Andrea is also an archival film researcher and writer whose film and book commentary has appeared on The A.V. Club, BuzzFeed, and Uncovered Classics.
