Friends of Standing Together NYC is part of a US sister movement of Standing Together. Standing Together is a grassroots co-resistance movement of Palestinian and Jewish citizens of Israel committed to realizing a vision of genuine peace, justice, and freedom for all in Israel-Palestine. We are proud to share in that mission. Friends of Standing Together NYC amplifies the message of Standing Together in Israel-Palestine and seeks to create more space in American policy for activists on the ground to achieve their goals.
Israelis for Peace is a grassroots organization of Israeli anti-occupation activists living in NY, some of whom have lost family members on October 7th. For over two years, IFP have been mobilizing weekly to end the genocide and release all hostages. In the long term, IFP calls for an end to the occupation, lifting of the siege and a shared Israeli-Palestinian future, based in true equality and justice.
Tamar Glezerman is a narrative filmmaker and anti-occupation activist from Tel-Aviv, living in New York. After losing her aunt on October 7th, Tamar co-founded Israelis For Peace.
