Jim Moore, grandson and biographer of screenwriter Charles Brackett, will give an illustrated talk before NINOTCHKA on Sunday, May 15 at 5:20, THE LOST WEEKEND on Sunday, May 15 at 7:40, and SUNSET BLVD. on Monday, May 16 at 8:20. Following the screenings of THE LOST WEEKEND and SUNSET BLVD., he will also present an Academy compilation reel spotlighting Wilder and Brackett’s collaborations. It’s the Pictures that Got Small: Charles Brackett on Billy Willder and Hollywood’s Golden Age, edited by Anthony Slide, an annotated collection of writings taken from Brackett's unpublished diaries, will be on sale at our concession.
