Benjamin Bratt is a veteran of more than 30 films, an Emmy-nominated actor whose wide-ranging career has spanned film and television for more than 35 years—from the hit TV series Law & Order to Steven Soderbergh’s TRAFFIC; from Marvel’s DOCTOR STRANGE to Taylor Hackford's BLOOD IN, BLOOD OUT; from indie standout PIÑERO to audience favorite MISS CONGENIALITY. As an accomplished voice-over artist, Bratt portrayed super villain "El Macho" in the animated blockbuster DESPICABLE ME 2, as well as the famed musician "Ernesto de la Cruz" in Pixar’s global smash COCO. Bratt is a founding partner of 5 Stick Films, a production company geared toward films of conscience with an aim towards telling stories with passion, vision and personal reflection. He won Cinequest’s Maverick Spirit Award for his work as producer and star of the independent hit LA MISSION, a winner of multiple Image awards, written and directed by his brother Peter Bratt. Benjamin also served as Consulting Producer on his brother’s 2017 documentary DOLORES, centering on the work of labor and civil rights leader Dolores Huerta, nominated for an Emmy Award, winner of a Peabody Award, and Audience Awards at both the San Francisco Film Festival and the Houston Latino Festival.
