Ulises de la Orden studied Film Directing at Argentina’s Universidad del Cine. He was a professor of Film Directing at La Escuela Nacional de Experimentación y Realización Cinematográfica (ENERC) in Buenos Aires from 2006 – 2022. His academic education was complemented by his vast experience in the film industry since 1992, having participated in important productions in Argentina, Chile, Hungary, France, India, Hong Kong, China, Canada and England. His previous films include RIO ARRIBA (2006), TIERRA ADENTRO (2011), DESIERTO VERDE (2013), MUJER ENTERA (2015), CHACO (2018), NUEVA MENTE (2019), AMANECER EN MI TIERRA (2019), MAREA Y VIENTO (2020), and VILCA, LA MAGIA DEL SILENCIO (2021).

Martín Abregú is vice president for International Programs. As such, he works on designing and implementing a vision for the foundation’s work at the global level, seeking to respond to the global drivers of inequality by bringing new voices and perspectives into the international arena. He works with teams in the US and around the globe, including 10 regional offices and six international programs: Civic Engagement and Government; Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Justice; Natural Resources and Climate Change; Technology and Society; Future of Work(ers); and Global Governance. Martín joined Ford in 2000, serving as a program officer for human rights and citizenship in the Andean Region and Southern Cone office, based in Santiago, Chile. Since then, he has held various positions at the foundation. He was appointed program vice president in 2013 and vice president for international programs in February 2019.
