Intimate portrait of the Paneros, a notoriously troubled Spanish literary family, with deceased patriarch Leopoldo Panero, poet laureate of the fascist regime, unseen but looming large. Intended as a Spanish Grey Gardens, but viewed, following Franco’s death, as a post-fascist post-mortem.
