Buñuel’s no-compromise report from the slums has since influenced everything from Truffaut’s The 400 Blows to City of God. His Best Director Award at Cannes prompted the international discovery of his work. In Spanish, with English subtitles.  En español, con subtítulos en inglés. Approx. 85 min. 35mm.
