50-minute presentation by Eric Myers and Howard Mandelbaum, co-authors of Screen Deco: A Celebration of High Style in Hollywood.

Eric Myers is co-author (with Howard Mandelbaum) of Screen Deco: A Celebration of High Style in Hollywood and Forties Screen Style: A Celebration of High Pastiche in Hollywood. He is also the author of Uncle Mame: The Life of Patrick Dennis. His writing on architecture, design, and cinema has also appeared in The New York Times, Variety, IndieWire, Time Out (New York), and many other publications.  



Howard Mandelbaum shares his passion for movies through his archive, Photofest, which he founded with Carlos Clarens and which he operated with Ronald Mandelbaum. He has been connected with various revival houses, such as The Thalia and Carnegie Hall Cinema, and written for publications like Bright Lights and Film Comment. Most happily, he collaborated with long-time friend Eric Myers on two books on Hollywood art direction.
