Brought from Delhi to Hollywood to play the title role in Son of Gunga Din, Sellers’ klutzy Hrundi V. Bakshi is fired when he accidentally blows up the set, but is inadvertently invited to a lavish studio bash. The resulting Tatiesque free-for-all includes a shoe in the hors d’oeuvres, a psychedelic elephant in the pool, and a house full of soapsuds.
