HOMAGE TO DAN TALBOT (1926 – 2017)

Toby Talbot, co-founder with her husband, Dan, of the New Yorker Theater and Lincoln Plaza Cinemas, will introduce the 7:45pm screening of Robert Frank and Alfred Leslie’s Pull My Daisy, adapted by Jack Kerouac from his play Beat Generation

Pull My Daisy plays as part of a double feature with Orson Welles’ The Magnificent Ambersons – an homage to legendary arthouse exhibitor and distributor Dan Talbot (1926-2017), who programmed the same combo at his Upper West Side New Yorker Theater in 1960.

Following the screening, Ms. Talbot will sign copies of her book The New Yorker Theater and Other Scenes from a Life at the Movies (available at concession).
