Simon Lund is the Director of Technical Operations at Cineric Inc., a New York and Lisbon based motion picture restoration company, where he has worked for 28 years. Founded in 1982, the facility has restored and preserved over 1,000 films for such studios as Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, The Walt Disney Company, and Universal Pictures, while collaborating on special projects with the Academy Film Archive, Anthology Film Archives, British Film Institute, EYE Film Institute Netherlands, George Eastman House, International Olympic Committee, Museum of Modern Art, New York Public Library, and Whitney Museum of American Art, as well as dozens of university archives, professional sports leagues, and other institutions.
