Ross Lipman will be signing copies of his new book The Archival Impermanence Project (Sticking Place Books) in the lobby after the film.
Ross Lipman is a filmmaker, restorationist, and writer. His writing has appeared in publications like Artforum and Sight and Sound, as well as academic books and journals. In his film restoration work, he has worked with the Bruce Conner Family Trust and at the UCLA Film & Television Archive; he has also earned Anthology Film Archives’ Preservation Honors and three National Society of Film Critics’ Heritage Awards. His film NOTFILM played at Film Forum in 2017.
