THE PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC introduced by composer Richard Einhorn

Composer Richard Einhorn will introduce this special screening of The Passion of Joan of Arc.

Richard Einhorn is the composer of the acclaimed Voices of Light, a choral and orchestral work inspired by the film and performed by vocal ensemble Anonymous 4. Richard has written film music, multimedia, opera, orchestral and chamber music, song cycles, and dance scores. He has composed music for 16 feature films and close to 200 documentaries, including Academy Award-winning documentary short Educating Peter, Arthur Penn's Dead of Winter, and John Coles’ Darrow. Other major works include Red Angels for New York City Ballet, The Shooting Gallery, a multimedia collaboration with filmmaker Bill Morrison, and A Carnival of Miracles for Anonymous 4. Einhorn has received numerous music awards and grants and is also a well-known advocate for people with hearing loss. He is on the NY Board of Governors of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and is also vice-chair of the national Board of the Hearing Loss Association of America.
