Director Mary Harron will introduce a free member screening of her 2006 film The Notorious Bettie Page. The screening is part of the festival “Genre is a Woman,” running June 3-16.
Harron first rose to prominence with her feature film directorial debut I Shot Andy Warhol (1996), before going on to direct 2000’s American Psycho (also playing in “Genre is a Woman”), The Notorious Bettie Page (2005), and The Moth Diaries. She has worked extensively in television, directing episodes of Oz, The L Word, Six Feet Under, Big Love, Constantine, The Following, Graceland, and more.
