THE MARX BROTHERS & The Golden Age of Vaudeville
Through Thursday, September 29
FEATURING NEW RESTORATIONS FROM UNIVERSAL STUDIOS
This series features brand new restorations of the Marx Brothers’ five films from Paramount Pictures, now part of the Universal library: The Cocoanuts (1929), Animal Crackers (1930), Monkey Business (1931), Horse Feathers (1932), and Duck Soup (1933). For these restorations, Universal has created new 35mm preservation negatives, as well as new DCPs (Digital Cinema Packages) for exhibition. Universal’s goal was to identify and locate the most complete versions that were as close as possible to the original release.
