Nicholas Macdonald, author of In Search of La Grande Illusion: A Critical Appreciation of Jean Renoir’s Elusive Masterpiece, will introduce the 6:35 show of Grand Illusion on Saturday, July 23. Following the screening, Macdonald will sign copies of his book. Part of our “Les Durs” series.
Macdonald is an author and filmmaker who made several independent political films in the 1970s, including Break Out! and The Liberal War.
