Gretchen Wayne will introduce the 8:25 screening of HONDO on Tuesday, November 29. Ms Wayne is the daughter-in-law of John Wayne and heads her late husband Michael Wayne’s successful film company, Batjac Productions. Batjac was formed in 1951 by her father-in-law, legendary actor John Wayne. Her latest project, supervising the worldwide distribution of Batjac films, is a culmination of a life-long dream of her husband. For the past few years, Mrs. Wayne has been managing virtually every aspect of the major restoration of these films, shepherding the process of bringing to market John Wayne classics like The High and the Mighty, Hondo, McLintock!, and The Green Berets, all of which are part of the Batjac titles released by Paramount Home Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures.
